            ˙ Introduction
Proteomic Analysis of Human iPS Cell Differentiation Metabolomics analysis is the comprehensive analysis of low molecular weight

metabolites in a living organism. While genome analysis gives the information on
the gene level, metabolome analysis yields downstream information. The metabolic
pathway in vitro is largely divided into the primary and secondary metabolic
pathways. The primary metabolic pathway is common in many organisms, directly
related to growth and life maintenance. Thus, metabolomics has become an
important analytical technique for understanding life and is becoming used in the
Comparative Metabolomics of Human ES Cells As a platform for metabolomics analysis, GC-MS (gas chromatography-mass spectrometry), NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance),
study of iPS and ES cells, including cell differentiation-inducing factors.

CE-MS (capillary electrophoresis - mass spectrometry), and LC-MS (liquid chromatograph-mass spectrometry) have been
proposed. GC-MS is a powerful technology and has been used most widely. Although GC has very high resolution and excellent
reproducibility, there is a problem that non-volatile compounds that must derivatized prior to GC analysis. CE-MS is suitable for
charged molecules, however, neutral molecules cannot be analyzed and reproducibility of the separation is problematic. On the

resolution. Among LC-MS techniques, LC-MS/MS, using a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer, has become a leading means of
research due to its wide quantitation range and high sensitivity.

                                                       LCMS-8040

The LCMS-8040 features the world's fastest polarity switching at 15 msec, an ultra-fast scanning rate of 15,000 u/sec, and
ultra-fast MRM transitions with a maximum 555 MRMs per second. These capabilities promise success in the analysis of
