Calibration of the TOC-L system was carried The higher melting point point of NaSO 4 (881
out using the automatic dilution function in the °C) compared to NaCl (801 °C) has a positive
range of 0.5 mg/L to 10 mg/L. influence on the lifetime of the combustion

For the determination, a TOC-L CPH was 9
equipped with a kit for high salt loads. A
special catalyst tube, a special mixture of Signal[mV] 6
various catalyst beads and a ceramics grid, 3
which replaces the platinum net are part of
the kit. 0 -1

Sample acidification when using the high-salt High-Salt-Kit
kit, is carried out with sulfuric acid in order to B-Type- Scrubber
modify the sample matrix.
