Supporting Analytical and Preparative Scales
The high solvent delivery performance of the LC-20AP permits an accurate and efficient environment for scaling up,
in both the preparative and analytical flow rate ranges. The Prominence preparative system supports both analysis
and fractionation (including gradient analysis and fractionation), which permits efficient scaling up with a single
instrument and single operating environment. Combining the LC-20AP with a dedicated FCV-200AL low-pressure
gradient unit allows gradient fractionation to be performed in a single unit, thereby saving equipment costs.

Degassing Units DGU-20A3R / 20A5R
The DGU-20A3R/20A5R is an on-line degassing unit that uses fluoroethylene membrane. The internal
nternal
capacity is small at 0.4 mL, only 1/25th of that for existing Shimadzu models, and the waiting time at
mobile-phase replacement or stabilization can be significantly reduced. The degassing efficiency has
also been improved, ensuring thorough degassing even at high flow rates.
