Transformer Oil Monitoring
as a Preventive Measure
When oil-type transformer has malfunction, degradation of oil inside the
transformer by heating or arc-discharge. This gas solves into the oil. The
malfunction can be determined by extracting and analyzing the gas.
Shimadzu offers both of System GC compliant with ASTM D-3612 Method B (oil
stripper sampling) and ASTM D-3612 Method C (headspace sampling).
